AI Guru and People Person
What would you do with an AI expert on your team?
Nick Card helps organizations put AI to work: practically, responsibly, and without the hype. Strategic consulting, hands-on coaching, and open-source tooling that bridges the gap between what AI can do and what your business actually needs.
What I Do
Three ways Nick helps organizations work smarter with AI.
AI Consulting
Strategic guidance on where AI fits in your operations, and where it doesn't. I work with leadership teams to identify high-value use cases, evaluate tools, and build adoption plans grounded in how your business actually runs. No magic, no hype. Just clear-eyed analysis and practical implementation.

From the 12-module AI for Business series to one-on-one coaching for leaders and teams, Nick meets people where they are. Each session focuses on a specific business function, produces a real deliverable, and treats AI as a tool. Participants leave knowing exactly how to use AI in their daily work.

Real tools built for real infrastructure. I maintain a collection of open-source projects focused on containerization, developer tooling, and AI integrations. These are functional software used in production, not demos or tutorials.

About Nick
Practitioner, not evangelist.
I've spent my career working across industries where getting things right matters: defense, legal, trucking and logistics, municipal government, and higher education. That background shapes how I approach AI. It's a tool that has to earn its place in real operations, not a silver bullet sold on conference stages.
I combine hands-on AI implementation experience with a practical teaching style built for the people who actually run businesses. The AI for Business series has helped business owners and managers move from "I've heard of ChatGPT" to confidently using AI tools in their daily work, with real deliverables instead of vague inspiration.
I also serve on the Medford City Council, bringing the same clear-headed, evidence-based approach to public service that I bring to technology consulting.
NKCX is Nick's personal brand for AI consulting, coaching, and open-source development.
